  Banquets
 
 
Overview      

Though the primary function of the Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center is to be a camp and conference center for organizations, we do have facilities available throughout the year for banquets. The best availability is during the weekdays (Monday - Thursday), as we have weekend rental groups using the rooms for meals on weekends.
 
Available Banquet Rooms: 
*The new dining hall, the John Wilkinson Hall, opened in summer of 2018. It can seat up to 550 people. 
*The banquet room upstairs of John Wilkinson Hall can seat up to 150 people. 
*The original dining hall, Sheffer Hall, can seat up to 240 people. 
*The Terrace room in Sheffer Hall can seat up to 75 people. 
*The Terry England Leadership Center can seat up to 450 at round tables or long tables. 

Our staff can cover the tables with a white paper roll. You are welcome to bring your own decorations. (Please do not use confetti, markers, etc)

 


2024 Sample Price (Gratuity is not required)      
The standard rate for banquets in the main dining hall starts at $17 per person including:
  • Standard entrée
  • Two vegetables/sides
  • Tossed Salad with dressing
  • Rolls
  • Dessert
  • Beverages (sweet tea, unsweet tea, water)
  • Dining Room with tables and chairs
  • White paper roll on the tables
  • Podium and PA system if requested
  • Projection Screen if requested
Additional Options for additional cost:
  • Serve in one of the alternative banquet rooms (Upstairs Wilkinson, Sheffer Hall, or Terry England Leadership Center) 
  • Additional entrée or side
  • Fire in the fireplace (winter only)
  • Video Projector

  • Fried Chicken (We are famous for our fried chicken!)
  • Chicken Tenders (Hand battered, fresh tenders. Great for all ages, and you don't have to worry about having the right mix of white meat and dark meat!)
  • Smoked chicken leg quarters (breast quarters available for added cost)
  • Roast Beef
  • Ham
  • Pork Loin
  • Grilled pork chop (boneless)
  • Smoked pork chop (pending availability)
  • Lasagna
  • Hamburger Steak
  • Country Fried Steak

  • Mashed Potatoes w/ Gravy

Banquet Policies:
We require a guaranteed number at least 10 weekdays prior to your event. This is the minimum number that we will charge for. Your cost will be the guaranteed number (or actual number if higher) times the cost per person. There is no additional service charge or gratuity. Payment is due upon arrival for your event in the form of cash or check (payable to Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center.) We ask that payment is made by one check. Groups are required to provide an accurate serving time and an estimated ending time. We also request that dinner plates are turned in prior to starting the program.

  Banquet Reservations
     
1. Contact the Center to check dates. Please be prepared to provide the following information:
  • Date of Banquet
  • Name of Group/Organization
  • Contact Person and Information
  • Projected number of guests
  • Arrival Time, Serving Time, Finish Time
  • Menu
  • Other needs (audio/visual, head table, podium, etc)
2. Submit the Banquet Reservation Form to reserve your event.
